Just a quick post to mention the great fun – and to thank the awesome participants – at yesterday’s iPhone Photo Adventure in West Des Moines. I had an excellent group join me in hip Valley Junction, and it was a blast shooting, editing, and sharing iPhone art with you all.

I’ve recently added a session of my popular Intro to Digital SLR Photography Workshop to my spring workshop schedule. It’s this Saturday, April 21, 2:00-5:00pm at Octagon Center for the Arts, 427 Douglas Ave, in downtown Ames, Iowa.
We just added this to the calendar a week or so ago, but my workshops at the Octagon fill fast so don’t hesitate to register if interested! UPDATE: Living History Farms 5th Annual Photography Day is this Saturday, Sept 18, 9:00am-5:00pm at Living History Farms in Urbandale, Iowa (LHF website).

So I haven’t created any new entries here for several weeks. Since late May, it’s been a summer of active travel, with only a few days in the office between trips Thanks for stopping by to check things out, though!
