23 August 2026 ~ Print order news!
Print order news! A few of my collectors have reached out to inquire why fine-art print order links have recently been missing from the site. Here’s the scoop! I have recently begun the process of bringing all of my fine-art print production – except for very-large exhibition print sizes – back in house. This update requires an overhaul to my web order process. And such things take time.
The back story! For many years I produced all of my own archival fine-art prints in-house in my own studio using Epson wide-format printers. A few years back, however, I switched to a high-quality custom printer for this production. There were several reasons for this. I have recently updated my own print capability, though, so I will once again be printing my own work. As always, I’ll use the best cotton rag fine-art papers, along with updated archival pigment inks. And of course, each fine-art print will be hand-signed by me.
I anticipate this update to be complete by mid-September, please stay tuned!
22 August 2026 ~ Open Studio
Today I held my “Open Studio” event in the Artist-in-Residence Studio at Weir Farm National Historical Park. It was well-attended, and great fun! During the first two weeks of my residency, I hung in the studio some of my favorite framed 18×24 photographs from a recent exhibition. However, last Monday I had 16 archival 12×18 fine-art photographs printed and overnighted to me. Additionally, a high-end printing studio in nearby Danbury, Connecticut, printed three gorgeous fine-art photographs, as well. I created these 19 photographs during the first two weeks of my residency. Along with many others, of course. Finally, I also produced a slideshow that included 121 additional images, which played on multiple monitors in the studio. It was a blast to share this brand-new work in this format.
I have about one week left of my National Park Artist-in-Residency experience at Weir Farm NHP. With the Open Studio event behind me, I am now focused on revisiting my list of subjects and locations within the park that I still want to photograph. It’s going to be a busy week!
This has been an amazing experience, and I’ll post many Weir Farm NHP photographs to the site soon.
1 August 2026 ~ National Park Artist-in-Residence Move-In Day
Today I began my Artist-in-Residence experience at Weir Farm National Historical Park in Wilton/Ridgefield, Connecticut. I’ll be living in an historic cottage in the Park’s core complex, and basing out of a studio for my photographic work. I’m one of six artists chosen from a pool of applicants, for one-month residencies. This is the first year I’ve applied for a National Park Service residency, and I’m excited to have been chosen for this prestigious endeavor.
Weir Farm NHP promotes itself as “The National Park for Art.” It is a National Park dedicated to the history and pursuit of contemporary American art, and it focuses on connecting people of all ages to art, nature, and conservation.
Pictured above are the main Weir Farm NHP entrance sign, the AiR Studio building, and the AiR Cottage.
6 July 2026 ~ Exhibition News
I am honored to share that my photograph “Roots” has been selected for inclusion in the new Verum Ultimum Gallery (Portland, Oregon) exhibition “Tree II: Breath of Humanity.” My photograph joins 87 other beautifully curated works that celebrate the tree.
Gallery owner and curator Jennifer Gillia Cutshall writes, “Verum proudly presents the 2nd edition of ‘TREE: Breath of Humanity,’ and it’s a massive exhibition with 88 original works spanning 4 rooms and 2 galleries to create a forest of appreciation.”
