I’m very excited to announce that I’ve just launched two workshops for fall 2021! I taught workshops in Iowa and around the Midwest for a decade, 2006-2016, but took a hiatus due to some health issues at that time. I hadn’t planned to be away for five years, but thanks to many, many requests from past workshop participants to “get back in the game” with workshops, I’m diving back in.
For now, I’m easing in with two sessions. The first is only a few weeks away, but I’m hopeful we can assemble and fun and interesting group of photographers. Workshops are of my Field Workshop format only, and will be run with strong COVID-19 safety protocols. Given the subject matter and this format, social distancing will be easy.
Both of the below workshops will be followed by a next-day online image review session using Zoom.
AUTUMN COLOR – Landscape and Nature Photography workshop
Ledges State Park | October 16, 2021
Same instructional format as past workshops that generally sold out / All-new itinerary, including new sunset location. Much has changed in the photo industry in the past five years, so there’s much new content. Limited to 10 participants, social distancing emphasized.
THE TEXTURES OF AUTUMN – Artistry in Nature workshop
Palisades-Kepler State Park | November 20, 2021
A workshop that focuses more on the artistry of nature photography, less on the technical side. Limited to 10 participants, social distancing emphasized.
Also now available: One-on-One Workshop Experiences
Individual instruction, weekday and weekend availability.
The full calendar is here, including some hints to what to expect in 2022.
